The Nathan Lane Wimsatt Scholarship Fund was established by Brian and Kathryn Wimsatt in May 2023 to honor and keep the memory alive of their son, Nathan Wimsatt, who lost his life in a tragic automobile accident. The Nathan Lane Wimsatt Scholarship Fund is a 501c3 non-profit charity that raises funds to award scholarships for Spencer County High School seniors to attend college or trade schools. One hundred percent of the proceeds raised goes to fund scholarships to Spencer County High School students. The scholarships will be awarded to students each year at the Spencer County High School Senior Awards Ceremony. Since Nathan will never be able to attend college, the awarded scholarships will help Nathan’s memory live on in the hearts of the scholarship recipients.
